Village Story Embroidered Cushion - Natural
Village Story Embroidered Cushion - Natural
Penduka's Village Story embroidered cushion covers are made by women in rural Namibia. Each cushion cover tells the story of one woman, her experiences and her problems, through needle and thread. This means that each cover is unique and will vary on what the embroiderer has to tell. Motifs include everyday village scenes, fetching water and Katutura street scenes. Made from 100% cotton, the hand embroidered cushion covers will inject unique character into any room, and work especially well in a children's nursery.
