Collection: Tamegroute Ceramics

Located on the cusp of the Sahara Desert in Morocco, the village of Tamegroute is famed for their signature green ceramics. Home to seven Atelier families, each with one oven, the artisans use local clay sourced from the river Draa. Once shaped, the clay is left to dry in the sun and hand dipped into glaze - a crafting process that has been passed down the generations. Despite the consistency in methods, each piece tells its own unique story, with variations in size, shape and colour original hallmarks of its crafter.
