Born out of a partnership between a designer and a local magazine distributor, Quazi Design started in 2010 to create much needed employment in Eswatini, Southern Africa. What began as an experiment in design for social impact has become a small thriving business with a solid community of local women artisans. Quazi believe in sustainable design, ethical production, transparency, and craftsmanship. All products are handmade by women that are employed full time with permanent contracts. Using only waste paper, the brand seeks to change the perception of recycled materials through original, sustainable and innovative design.
