Moto Moto is an ethical fashion brand based in Nairobi, Kenya. Founded in 2018, the brand is committed to social and economic empowerment of its artisans by promoting fair income, good working environments and access to social services such as schooling and health care. Made by hand, every item is one of a kind and includes small variations that are to be cherished. Each design has a beautiful story linked to it, representing the culture of the artisan who made it. Moto Moto means "hot hot" in Kiswahili, a language spoken in East Africa.

Process

Made from ‘Maasai Shuka’ fabric, traditional to the Maasai Tribe in Kenya and Tanzania; scrap fabric is made into accessories.
