Oshana's embroidered cotton and linen cushion is inspired by the brands name with means palm tree in Aramaic, the language that modern Arabic and Hebrew are descended from. In traditional Arabic cross-stitch embroidery, the palm tree motif is often used as the symbol of life itself. Featuring a simple palm tree motif, each square cushion is hand sewn by by Syrian refugee women living in Lebanon using skills that have been passed down the generations. The palm tree symbolises the new life that the refugee women are creating. Available in blue and yellow, these embroidered cushions will add style, character and narrative to any home.
