Knitted 100% cotton blanket. Proudly made in South Africa, from 100% cotton. The cotton is sourced from local farmers and the yarn is custom dyed in the Eastern Cape.

Art by illustrator and branding guru, Mariana Lancastre. The design is a variation of her much loved illustration, Americanah.

"The "Americanah" artwork is inspired by the novel with the same title by writer Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. I was caught by the story of this woman that "becomes a black woman" when she moves from Nigeria to America. Her natural hair is a powerful symbol to address racism, loneliness and home and I wanted to pick this idea, by transforming an African pattern into a hectic urban landscape." - Mariana

Material: 100% cotton sourced from BCI accredited farmers
Size: 140cm x 180cm. Note that sizing may vary slightly for each style due to the nature of the yarn. Please allow for a 10cm tolerance. Approximately 2.5kg per piece.
