African Blackwood Spoon
African Blackwood Spoon
Available in two sizes. The smaller spoon works well for salt, sugar, spices, or chutney. The larger blackwood spoon is great for scooping and eating with, or even for baking.
These pieces have been beautifully finished off and are a perfect gift for a foodie. They are made in southern Tanzania by a group of talented artisans who are training to develop skills to reach a global market.
Please note although the wood is called African Blackwood, it can sometimes have beautiful light grains and sections running through it giving a beautiful two tone look.

QÄSA QÄSA
QÄSA QÄSA stems from the Amharic (Ethiopian) word to mean inspire | awake | motivate. Taking inspiration from their heritage, Naeema and Aniqah founded QÄSA QÄSA in 2015 and set off on a journey to explore the incredibly diverse skills of artisans in Eastern Africa. They have partnered with exceptional artisans, non-governmental organisations (NGO’s) and community groups in Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Malawi to design and source unique products that combine traditional skills with modern design. All of their pieces are meticulously handcrafted using local and indigenous materials and take into account sustainability and ethical production.
