Collection: Quazi Design

Born out of a partnership between a designer and the local magazine distributor Quazi Design started in 2010 in order to create much needed employment in Eswatini, Southern Africa.

What began as an experiment in design for social impact and has become a small thriving business with a solid community of local women artisans. Quazi believes in sustainable design, ethical production, transparency, and craftsmanship. All products are handmade by women that are employed full time at the brand's workshop with permanent contracts.

Quazi focus on developing new and innovative techniques using only waste paper and want to change the perception of recycled materials. The brand transforms these waste magazines and newspapers into original designs, using its own simple yet pioneering techniques at the workshop. Each product is made by hand, with basic tools and the sun’s rays. As much as possible our materials are locally sourced and environmentally friendly.

A founding member of SWIFT, Swaziland fair trade - Quazi are an active advocate for fair trade principles.
