Lālla London ethically produce hand knotted rugs in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Supporting female weavers and promoting fair pay in Berber communities.
Lãlla is the endearing term for an ‘important and respect woman’ in Moroccan Arabic, embodying the very inspiration of the company. Partnering with female run cooperatives situated deep in the moroccan mountains, Lãlla design and produce rugs and bring their story to your home. Lãlla rugs are made from only natural materials, using the varying qualities of wool and cotton. Celebrating craftsmanship and the individuality of handmade design.
Lālla’s service is personalised to ensure each client receives the perfect rug for their space, however big or small. Offering complimentary house visits in London, so you can ‘try before you buy’ or opt for a customised rug.
Whether it be a specific style or colour you have in mind, or just a custom size, Lālla can help design, colour match and measure a bespoke piece to match your exact requirements.
Once all the details are confirmed, the rug is placed into production for 90 days, where the weavers dye the wool, prepare the yarn and hand-knot each piece individually.
If you are interested in purchasing a custom-made rug please email email@example.com for further details.
