Indego Africa is a non-profit organisation that supports the integrity of artisan-made goods and creates opportunities for the women who make them. Indego Africa partner with more than 1,200 artisan and refugee women in Rwanda and Ghana, combining time-honoured techniques, local materials, and amazing artisanal skills. Indego Africa invest all profits from product sales, coupled with grants and donations, into business, leadership, and technology education programs for the women who handcraft the products and the youth in their communities.

Handcrafted using local natural fibres and time-honoured, heritage techniques including raffia-weaving, woodcarving, hand-embroidery and wool-spinning.

Makers

Handmade by women artisans and refugees living in Rwanda and Ghana.

100% of profits are invested back into their artisan partners with locally-run entrepreneurship programmes.
